Privacy policy and cookies

How nextpoker.org handles technical logs, Google Analytics, cookies, affiliate links, and privacy rights. Contact: contact@nextpoker.org.

Updated: August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how nextpoker.org (“Site”, “we”, “us”) processes information when you visit Next Poker Guide. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Data controller

Controller: Next Poker Guide editorial project (informational website at nextpoker.org).

Contact: contact@nextpoker.org for privacy requests, corrections, and policy questions.

We are not a gambling operator and do not operate player accounts.

2. What data we collect

The Site is mostly static HTML. You do not need an account to read guides. When you load pages, hosting and related infrastructure may process:

We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID configured in the site build, currently G-SQ0JRH7L8R) to measure aggregate traffic and page performance. Google may set cookies or similar identifiers. We configure analytics for site measurement, not to build marketing profiles on this Site. See Google’s documentation for how Analytics processes data.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We may use or allow:

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking may limit analytics measurement.

4. Affiliate and outbound links

The Site links to third-party operators and help organisations. When you follow a partner link (including partner redirect), you leave nextpoker.org. Third parties process data under their own policies.

We may receive affiliate commissions. That does not give us access to your operator account details unless you contact us separately.

5. Legal bases (EEA/UK)

Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies:

6. Retention

Server and security logs follow hosting defaults unless a longer period is needed for security or legal reasons. Analytics retention follows the Google Analytics property settings.

7. Sharing and processors

We may use processors such as web hosting, CDN, DNS, email for the contact mailbox, and Google Analytics. We do not sell personal data. Affiliates receive information only when you choose to visit them.

8. International transfers

Processors may store data outside your country. Where required, vendor safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) may apply.

9. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, and data portability, and to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based.

Email contact@nextpoker.org. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

10. Gambling disclaimer

Privacy choices do not remove gambling risk. Educational content is for adults 18+. Real-money poker involves financial loss and can be addictive. Use operator safer-gambling tools and independent support if needed — see responsible gambling.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The current version lives on this page. Material changes update the date below.
